Blacksole Footbridge

Description

A 52 metre single span Bow Warren truss spanning across double rail tracks in Herne Bay, Kent. The bridge forms a vital part of a new cycle and pedestrian route. All designed, fabricated, painted, delivered and installed by Nusteel Structures Ltd’s in-house teams. Due to the weight and site restraints, the bridge was lifted into place with a 1000te crane. All Lift Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements were produced by our in-house Appointed Persons colleagues.

The integral parapet system consists of fully welded plate and galvanized mesh panels.
