This large mixed use bridge was designed, manufactured and installed by Nusteel Structures to ultimately connect future sections of the Granite and Gears cycleway which runs through Devon. The bridge consists of a 42 metre Warren truss main span together with 106 metres of Warren truss ramps and 112 metres of Twin Stringer ramps.
This Multi-use bridge provides access across the A38 in Devon, linking Bovey Tracey and Newton Abbot for pedestrians, cyclists and equestrian users alike.
Due to the large bridging components, the structure was installed over a number full road closures with the main span being lifted into place with a 500te mobile crane.
