We have been busy this month installing and carrying out remedial works to a number of bridges across the UK. The first of these is the A19 Downhill equestrian bridge for Costain PLC. This consists of 4 No main spans totalling nearly 80 metres and over 200 metres of Warren truss approach ramps. Coming in at over 430t in weight, this large scheme looks impressive now erected on site.
The Glasshouse Wood footbridge over the A46 near Coventry links the Kenilworth with Stoneleigh communities. This Nusteel designed bridge replaced the existing concrete structure and was fabricated, painted and installed using our in-house departments – a nice simple solution for a bridge replacement project.
