Mill Lane Footbridge

Description

An aesthetically pleasing full Sprung Arch bridge spanning the A3095 in Bracknell. The 40 metre main deck is supported from the arch by high tensile galvanised bars. Approach ramps totalling 90 metres in length together with associated steel trestle supports complete the structure. A Nusteel Structures designed bridge, all bridge components fabricated, blasted, painted, decked, delivered and installed by our experienced in-house team.

Materials

The main hollow steel sections are hot rolled to BS EN 10210:2006 S355J2H with the plates and sections to BS EN 10025:2004 S355J2+N. A Highways England Type 2 paint system was used in conjunction with a combined waterproofing and anti-slip decking system. The high tensile hanger bars were supplied by Daver Steels Limited.
