Apprenticeships have always formed an important part of Nusteel’s business development. We have been a member of the 5% Club for quite some time now and we cannot stress how important it is for the steel fabrication industry to keep investing in the training of the next generation and the next. The latest 4 apprentice Plater/welders joined us last month and are already contributing to projects on the shop floor.
We invest heavily in the younger generation, so it is good to see our apprentices being involved in all aspects of fabrication and our more experienced fabricators with one-to-one mentoring from our more experienced fabricators, working on footbridges, beams and sign gantries.
